Popular places to visit around Finikounda, that offer a unique insight into the natural environment of the area are some of the following that are suggested below. Walk, ride your bike or drive to the locations, but when there, enjoy the serenity each place has to offer.

MAVROVOUNI - ANEMOMILOS
Right after Finikounda, on the way to Methoni, we get to the beach called "Makrinammos" and starts from the location "Anemomylos" and ends at the location "Mavrovouni". It is a huge beach, with bright, clean sand, one of the best in the whole of Messinia.

LAMPES
In the middle of the route Finikounda-Methoni right next to the newly constructed road, we can find the excellent beaches of "Sykies", "Koumpares" and "Lampes". Lampes, with their wonderful sandy beach and crystal clear green-blue waters, remind us of an exotic african scenery. Swimming here is certainly a great pleasure.
